Chocolate Strawberry Mousse (Valentine Special – USA Style)

Serves: 2–4
🧾 Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- Optional garnish: strawberry slices, chocolate shavings, mint leaves
👩🍳 Instructions:
Melt Chocolate:
In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate chips with butter using a double boiler or microwave. Let cool slightly.
Whip Cream:
In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Fold Together:
Gently fold melted chocolate into the whipped cream until smooth and fluffy.
Assemble:
Spoon mousse into serving glasses. Top with chopped strawberries.
Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Garnish before serving and enjoy.
