  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ยฝ teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Crisp Topping:

  • ยพ cup rolled oats
  • ยฝ cup all-purpose flour
  • ยฝ cup brown sugar
  • ยฝ teaspoon True Organic Cinnamon Powder (optional for extra warmth)
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
  • Pinch of salt

  1. Preheat Oven:Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a baking dish lightly with butter.
  2. Prepare the Apple Filling:In a bowl, combine sliced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and 1โ€“2 drops of True Organic Cinnamon Bark Oil.
    Mix well and spread into the baking dish.
  3. Make the Crisp Topping:In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon powder (optional), and salt.
    Add cold butter and use your fingers to crumble it into the mixture until it forms a coarse, sandy texture.
  4. Assemble:Sprinkle the crisp topping evenly over the apples.
