A premium organic black tea that works great for iced tea.

This True Organic black tea has a very inviting aroma with a natural richness. I’ve never had Ceylon black tea before, and the strength of the flavor is a lot stronger than I’m acclimated to. It’s not a bad taste, but it is bitter, so I primarily utilize it for iced tea with a bit of lemon and a pinch of baking soda to cut the bitterness down. The caffeine content feels about average, and it provides a good amount of energy in the morning. I think the tea quality is very high though, and I like that the teabags are individually sealed in a thick packaging. This tea is very expensive however, so it’s not the best value, but it does look and taste like a premium quality organic tea product.

Slight bitterness, but loved their other teas

I tried four of the True Organic teas. Several I thought were good and a few that were not.The Green tea just tasted rather bitter, not smooth with that natural slight nuttiness. The same with the black tea. I didn’t care all that much for either.However, the Chamomile tea was so subtle and delicate. I actually liked that and the Peppermint tea. These were delightful. These tasted the most fresh and thought it was a good value for the size of the box.

Excellent black tea

Ceylon teas (from Sri Lanka) are one of my favorites and this one is no different. The box comes shrink wrapped, and each bag is also well sealed to lock in the flavor. Brewing suggestion is with boiling water for 5 minutes, so this steeps on the slower side. The flavor is very smooth after the 5 minute steep and not bitter at all. I do prefer mine stronger so I steep for 6. Other than the tags on the string being a bit weak, there's not much I can nitpick about this tea. Pricing is reasonable for organic genuine Ceylon tea.Highly recommended.

This black tea tastes good, tea bags are well made

I enjoy drinking tea with breakfast and black tea is one of my favorites. I was excited to try this organic Ceylon black tea and it had a good, non-bitter taste. Traditional consistency. The price point for 100 tea bags is more than I typically would consider of value, but I traditionally don't seek out organic tea over others. The bags were well made, the box quality. Overall for the taste and quality of the bags I would recommend.
