I've had a lot of different chai black teas. Of course, it's a real treat when someone makes it with milk and fresh spices and I've done that on occassion, but generally, I'm satisfied with a good cup of chai tea from a bag. Finding one with the right balance of flavors though isn't that easy. This True Organic Premium Ceylon Chai Black Tea hits all the right notes for me.The bags themselves have the warm scent of chai spices like cinnamon, cardamon, clove and ginger. The brewed tea for me is smooth, full-flavored with warm spice and so soothing. I think this tea is incredibly well balanced. I've had other chais where I felt there was too much ginger or cinnamon overpowering the other spices or where spice flavors felt artificially enhanced, that isn't the case with this blend.I usually drink cardamon tea mostly because I hadn't found a chai without sharp flavors, but I like this one so much I will likely incorporate it into my every day tea drinking.I also really like that it is organic.

Really solid chai tea, nice flavor that isn’t too strong or bitter, easy to prepare, and a great value for the amount you get in a box. Actually helps me feel a bit more full. Overall, an enjoyable and simple tea.
These individually wrapped chi are convenient. I do my own chi but sometimes just want a nice tea without the wait.The flavor is better than others that I've tried. Also, I use a 20oz mug and just two bags provides a deep, rich, taste. Being able to steep rather than do the boil is super efficient. Especially when I'm working and don't want to spend the time but am just craving the spicy lift a good chi provides.The individually sealed packets will keep the tea fresh and makes it easy to take in my day bag. I also like the side-open box, this makes for a smaller footprint on shelf and counter.I appreciate that this arrived nice and fresh, manufactured just four months ago with a Best By Date in 08/28 - good, long, shelf life.At about $0.20 per bag, these are really cost efficient compared to take away tea. I think this is a good value.
This chai tea smells amazing as soon as you open the box and brews into a rich, warm cup that is smooth without being bitter. I like that the bags are individually wrapped with tags because it makes steeping effortless and keeps things tidy. The black tea comes through nicely, but the spices are a bit muted. I was hoping for more of a ginger or clove punch, which I had to add myself to get the full chai experience. Still, it is convenient, reasonably priced, and a solid everyday chai for someone who enjoys a milder spice profile.
